In preparazione al Safer Internet Day 2021 diverse classi stanno lavorando alle tematiche:
 fake news
 conspiracy theories
 hate words and hate speech

sia nell’ambito dei percorsi di cittadinanza digitale ((Educazione civica) che all’interno del progetto eTwinning 2020-2021 Heroes and heroines of language collegato al progetto Erasmus+ TSOLCH.

Tra le attività svolte vi sono le seguenti:

1B La classe 1B ad opzione internazionale ha approfondito il fenomeno delle “parole per ferire” (hate words) e dei discorsi di odio (hate speech). Ha quindi esaminato, analizzato e commentato i 10 princìpi di stile elencati nel Manifesto della comunicazione non ostile, princìpi utili a migliorare lo stile e il comportamento di chi sta in Rete per favorire comportamenti rispettosi e civili in modo tale che la Rete sia un luogo accogliente e sicuro per tutti. Ha partecipato all’ Evento multimediale in diretta streaming, organizzato dalla Polizia Postale di Stato per il Safer Internet Day (SID) e inserito nel Progetto #cuoriconnessi.

2B La classe 2B ad opzione internazionale ha conosciuto ed approfondito, grazie a generazioni connesse.it, il fenomeno delle fake news: ha lavorato sulla consapevolezza che la decisione di condividere (online e offline) notizie, immagini e video deve essere presa con responsabilità. Ha partecipato all’Evento on line su YouTube #SicuriOnlineSempre nel #SID 2021 promosso dal MOIGE nell’ambito del progetto Giovani Ambasciatori per la cittadinanza digitale

2H Alcuni studenti della classe si collegano all’Evento multimediale in diretta streaming, organizzato dalla Polizia Postale di Stato per il Safer Internet Day (SID), dalle 10:00 alle 12:00 del 9.2.2021.

Hi teacher, this is my report about the conference: Today 9 February 2021 is the Safar Internet Day and I had the opportunity to attend a beautiful videoconference.

 

It was very interesting because it talked about topical topics among young people. During the speech the host presented the book "hearts connected" which tells stories of teenagers victims of the dangers of the network, such as: dissemination of private photos without permission, cyberbullying, fake accounts and haters.

 

A lot of kids connected from schools in some Italian cities asked one of the panelist - a psychologist from Polizia postale- info about the behavior to be adopted to prevent these dangers related to social networks and exploit only the benefits of the network.

 

The psychologist emphasized the importance of communicating every form of violence to adults because it is essential to break the silence of the victims since all the culprits can be traced by the police because those who travel online leave a footprint.

 

Nobody has to remain alone to face uncomfortable situations because talking allows you to share the weight of the pain and those who denounce these bad facts are never snitches but good friends.

 

The conference was very informative and I’m sure a lot of young people realized that their problems are common and can be solved if we act together.
