Motivazione del premio:
Abbandonato dalla persona amata, l’io narrante si strugge nel silenzio di una casa che si fa gabbia, prigioniero dell’ossessione del ricordo, nell’attesa contratta di un ritorno. L’autore di "Night of you" ha saputo creativamente forzare la lingua inglese per dar corpo a una febbricitante atmosfera “dark” Il vuoto del presente si nutre del miele del passato e l’aggirarsi senza meta si fa paralisi e pretesa di un amore assoluto e esclusivo
